WET DESIGN
From 2018 to 2020 I was a director and editor at WET design. I created storyboards and managed animators in order to create cinematic demonstrations of prospective designs using software such as Maya, Unreal, Houdini and After effects. I directed cinematographers during shoots and live streamed presentations and led a team that created the 2019 Game of Thrones projection show on the Bellagio fountain in Las Vegas. In the example above, I directed a cinematic demonstrating a proposed choreographed drone show for the fountain in front of the Burj Khalifa. I've included some samples below to show a small selection of the many videos I directed and edited while at WET Design.
In this cinematic I directed and edited, we captured the magic of the Emaar Square fountain in Turkey. We shot the fountain with Red Cameras at High speed to create beautiful slow motion shots, as well as created custom choreography for the fountain, curated for the best possible video experience.
In this technology demonstration video that I directed and edited, water flows into a basin that sits above an LCD screen. The screen displays explosive, reactive animations that mimic the water's motions as water hits the surface.
